Qeyana Kennedy, Editor-In-Chief
Qeyana Kennedy is a seventeen year old senior at Freedom High School. Qeyana was born on May 7th 1997 in Huntsville, Alabama, however, she moved to Tampa when she was 7 due to a job opportunity her father received. Her Journalism career began her sophomore year at Wharton High School and despite her enrollment at Freedom as a junior, she continued on to be a staff writer. Her connections with valuable resources from companies such as Microsoft and Apple allow her to report on important technological advances and events frequently. Qeyana’s interests include writing, photography, and music of all kinds and in her spare time she can be found creating something or planning an activity to help better the community. As a high school senior, Qeyana hopes to attend the University of Tampa, University of Florida, or University of Central Florida to study Journalism and Mass Communications.
