Yummy in My Tummy
Otis Spunkmeyer cookies are sold in the lunchroom and are arguably extremely delicious cookies.
“[I like to] taste the consistency of each individual chocolate chip. I can taste the sticky consistency of such a moist cookie. [It is] a magical mixture that creates a majestic cookie,” junior Jacob Elmer said.
Students also agree they are soft.
“[There is] a warm, soft touch to a nice and fresh cookie,” sophomore Jon Crossa said.
Cookie enthusiasts agree Otis Spunkmeyer creates excellent cookie dough. At $0.50 per cookie, one can buy 2 cookies for a dollar. According to most cookie consumers, the cookies are satisfyingly filling.
The cookies are also made with nutrition in mind. 51% or more of the cookie is made of whole grains, no more than 30% of the calories are fat, and no more than 10% of calories are saturated fat. There are zero grams of Trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no partially hydrogenated oils.
“We bake them for 12 minutes; 11 plus 1, at 350 degrees,” lunch lady Patty said.
The dough arrives frozen, which is the safest way to transport it.
Too much of anything is bad, but these cookies can be enjoyed in moderation.
“The dough melts in your mouth,” junior Seem Abdulsamad said.
