High school is a big part of our lives, many students either enjoyed it or just couldn’t stand it and are waiting for it to be over. There were good moments but also bad moments, here are some moments that students either have or have not experienced yet. 

The good parts

High school is a start for a lot of us; it’s a place where we make memories and grow as a person, preparing ourselves for our future. From what I’ve remember as a freshman starting High school, everything was new to me, there were so many students, so many classes to take, clubs and activities to do, there was so many things to do as a student. All these help us grow and understand what will come next in life. 

Another good part of it is the friends you make along the way, all the people we meet here will either be a big part of our lives after school or be a memory to us. With the friends we make, they help us laugh during tough times and create a great high school experience 

Learning is also a good part, even though people believe it’s boring but if you pay attention, you’ll be surprised on how much it’s useful in the real world, not only that but it even helps with growth. Students should take the opportunity to discover new things, and explore their interests, so when it comes to deciding what you want to do after high school, you’ll know what you want to do in life and be successful. 

The bad parts  

There are a few bad parts of high school, one of them of course are grades, keeping up with your grades can be hard for some students. It can sometimes put them under a lot of pressure with getting the grades they want and passing exams. Homework and studying can also take up a student’s time, which means that there will be times when they will miss out on something fun because they’re busy with studying and homework. End of the year exams are what students freak out the most, they quickly get into studying and put themselves under a lot of stress, afraid of what their score is going to be once they’re finished. 

Not only grades but social life for students makes high school harder for them, some students struggle making friends and will always be left out, or maybe there are drama, rumors and even pressure to fit in and it creates so much chaos with students and teachers. 

High school isn’t always what everyone expected to be, everyone has different experiences with it, but with time passing by fast you’ll be done with high school in the blink of an eye. So, whether you hate it or love it, high school is a big journey in your life, shaping you into the person you will be and helping you prepare for the future.
