FFA celebrates successful year with a banquet

The FFA club at Freedom celebrated the end of the school year with a banquet held Mother’s Day Weekend in the FHS cafeteria.

The officers from the 2022-23 school year served the food and in honor of Mother’s Day we let all moms get food first.

Destiny Nieves (12) hands out the awards for people who raised livestock this year, including poultry, rabbits, goats, swine, and beef/steer.
Mike Brown (Parent) was recognized for his contributions to the land lab throughout the year.
Shawn Torres (Parent) was recognized as “the Meat Master” as he is the one who cooked the meat for the banquet.
Julian surprised Mrs. Newcomb with a cutting board that all of the officers signed.
