Jeremy Carrick, 12, has been on the varsity team since his sophomore year takes pride in his sport. Carrick has full love for the game and puts his all in at practice and during games.

“I play a lot and can only attribute that to hard work.”

Carrick believes in that practice does pay off and he only wants to help the team succeed.

“You can worry about the results too much, just work hard and the rest will take care of itself.”

Carrick loves baseball at Freedom and couldn’t see himself anywhere else.

“I have loved playing baseball at Freedom. It’s been a blast and I look forward to finishing this season strong.”

Carrick wants his last year at Freedom to something memorable and a time well spent with his teammates. During his time at FHS, Carrick has played left field and has enjoyed every bit of it.

The highlight of Carrick’s career was going to the district championships and then to regionals for just the second time in school history.

“It’s definitely something that I will never forget.”
