Thor, the God of Thunder, returns to the big screen with Thor: Ragnarok, which appears to be a big success. This is the third installment of the Thor franchise, following Thor: The Dark World and Thor.

Thor: Ragnarok was definitely an improvement from the previous movies. Marvel learned from its mistakes from the first two Thor movies and created a great addition to its Cinematic Universe. The movie is colorful, vibrant, action-packed and surprisingly funny.

Chris Hemsworth returns to his role as Thor, along with a star-studded cast including Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and Cate Blanchett as Hela. Hemsworth’s chemistry with Hiddleston is what really made the movie great.

“I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the whole movie, especially when Thor threw Loki at the guards,” said Jose Teptate, 10.

Ragnarok’s comedy was arguably the best part of the movie, though at times the comedy did overpower the action. The action scenes were definitely satisfying, and the fight between Hulk and Fenrir was one of the coolest scenes.

Ragnarok was able to rack in an impressive $211.3 million on its opening day. It’s not surprising that Thor: Ragnarok was so well received by audiences.

“This was way better than the other Thor movies,” said Chris Delgado, 11. “I’m really glad that Marvel stepped up their game with this one.

Thor: Ragnarok could be regarded as one of the funniest movies of 2017. It is also just the beginning of the amazing movies to come from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most Marvel fans can agree that Ragnarok is one of Marvel’s best movies.

“I recommend this movie to anyone that loves action-packed comedies, not just Marvel fans. Trust me, you won’t regret watching it,” added Gustavo Gomez, 11.
