A Night Abroad
September 21, 2016
Freedom’s Homecoming was held at TPepin’s Hospitality Center on September 17 with a theme of “A Night Abroad”. Pictures for Homecoming started at around 4:30 and were taken at Compton Park.
At 7 p.m. students began to arrive for the dance and it wrapped up at around 11 p.m. For many students, it was their last time going to Homecoming so they wanted to make it last.
“I think Homecoming was a success. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Other than what I’ve heard about the DJ, no one has said anything negative about any of the other aspects of the dance,” said Senior Jarrod Rodriguez.
On top of Homecoming being a very successful night among the high schoolers, Freedom High School’s football team won their Homecoming game against Spoto Friday night. As a result, everyone was in a good homecoming spirit.
“I’m glad I got to go once while I’m still in high school,” said Senior Emily Dabrowski.
Whether it was dancing with their date or hanging out with friends it was a great place to be and something that these high schoolers will never forget.
“It was a really fun night and something I will cherish, I’m sad that this is the last homecoming that I’ll be able to go to,” said Senior Brian Seybold.
