Freedom Favorite Snacks
There are many snacks to choose from. Some can be used for muscle gain and intense workout. Others are fillers that are practically dripping in oils and have “cavity” written from top to bottom. But what do students at Freedom High School prefer to snack on after a long days work at school? I interviewed several students to find out what their favorite snacks are.
Angelica De la Cruz, a sophomore at Freedom says her favorite snack is Hot Cheetos Fries. “I love hot Cheetos fries because I love the spicy and salty taste” said Angelica.
Johnny Zhu, a junior at Freedom gave me the same answer. Johnny says “Every chance I get I buy a bag of Hot Cheetos Fries from the vending machine at school. They’re addicting.”
Keyshla Soto, a sophomore at Freedom says her favorite snack is trail mix. “I like eating all the pretzels and everything first. Then I eat the M & M’s after. They go great together going from salty to chocolatey.”
The next student gave my personal favorite. Preston Flores a junior at Freedom says his favorite snack is Lays Original Potato Chips. “I love Lays potato chips because they taste great and go with everything. Plus a bag will last me much longer than a candy bar.”
Yet some students at Freedom prefer to snack on healthier options as opposed to the previous students.
Julia Linton is a junior at Freedom. Being a member of the swim team Julia prefers to eat healthier snacks between meals. “My favorite snack is mangos because I love the sweet taste and they are very nutritious.”
Zoe Ferris a sophomore at Freedom also prefers a healthy fruit as opposed to other snacks. “Strawberries dipped in Nutella are my favorite snack. Strawberries are my favorite fruit and the chocolate flavor of the Nutella create a whole new taste and I just love it. It’s also much healthier than other snacks.”
Clearly there are many snacks to choose from, healthy or unhealthy.
