Korotory is an American Thrash, Death, and Groove metal band located in Long Island, New York. Dating from 1995 to the present, Korotory has been a self-funded and self-cover band until now.

Korotory has been playing hardcore music since the mid-1990s and continues to reign its brutal terror of music in New York, until now, Korotory’s “Virus is spreading” as Korotory’s main slogan. Korotory is a band that has been known to be a self-funded band since of their foundation of the band. Korotory is excited to announce that they will be traveling around the country from time to time and performing live upon request by fans on via Facebook. Darren Markoff, the drummer for Korotory, is excited to make this announcement and to ask all his friends on Facebook where to perform and contacts of different places to perform in the U.S.

“As you may or may not know. We have booked our show back. Sunday July, 12 at Blackthorn 51 at Queens, New York with the mighty Flotsam and Jetsam. We can’t believe it, we are psyched beyond belief,” stated Darren Markoff of Korotory via Facebook on March 22. “The main reason why I’m making this video is to ask you how fans, our friends, our family where we should play. Obviously the show’s booked so we’re ready probably around May/June is the real kickoff for us.” Just sympathizes Darren’s excitement for getting out and playing in different parts of the country and to meet all of his friends on social media that he has yet to meet.

Korotory has been a band of very heavy on the music ever since of their existence. The band has released a few demos, albums, and an EP. The demos include the self-titled Korotory and The Process of Elimination. The full album releases are Age of Rebellion in 2009 and God Less America in 2010. The only EP Korotory has ever released is Chapter III: The Conquering. The strongest release was the God Less America album with the types of music on Thrash, Groove and Death metals all in one album. As of now with Korotory’s new EP for Chapter III: The Conquering.

The line-up for Korotory is Eddie Becker (Guitars), Darren Markoff (Drums), Ray Truhn (Vocals), and David Elfawal (Bass).  As of now Korotory is asking via social media to start playing in different parts of the country and possible in Europe next year but not too heavy on the travel as they are like any of us regular people. The members of the band want to set the next twenty years playing the music “straight” and actually play more in different areas than being stuck in one area. Now is their chance and they have no hesitations on taking it. This is Korotory and its members going live, loud and proud!
