Diana Mascio, Staff Writer
Diana Mascio is a Freedom High school junior born and adopted from Bacau, Romania in 1999. Adopted parents Ken and Noel flew across the world to come pick her up and bring her to her new family in Long Island, New York. Three years later the family migrated down north to their current home in Lutz, Florida. Other than watching her favorite shows and being with friends, Mascio loves to write. Growing up, she has won multiple local contests and awards for her pieces. Her writings vary from informational essays to fictional short stories. Her love of writing and favorite teacher has influenced her future career choice to become a kindergarten teacher. As a kindergarten teacher, Mascio wishes to inspire and encourage future writers of America.
