Joseph Lambert, Staff Writer
Joseph Lambert was born in San Antonio, Texas. He is a senior at Freedom High School. He enjoys the subjects of science, but in particular, marine science. On a personal note, he was the lead guitarist in a band. He enjoys fishing, playing the electric guitar, and building models. In Texas, he used to work at a music store to teach people how to play the electric guitar and also worked repairing guitars.
During the past 7 years, Lambert has been playing the electric guitar He used to play as the lead guitarist in a band formerly known as Texas Rukus. Over the past years, Lambert has owned a few guitars; he has owned an Epiphone SG, a Spuier Stratocaster, an SX Stratocaster, and a dean signature of Michael Amott.
Lambert has a few other hobbies. He enjoys fishing. In the past, Lambert has fished in three different states and enjoyed the time he had in the outdoors. He enjoys “the peace and quiet” of fishing even if he doesn’t catch anything that day. He always went fishing “for the fun of it” and to enjoy his time alone.
After his senior year at Freedom, he intends to join the Navy. He plans to serve in the Navy for many years of his life and hopes to become an officer for the Navy. This influence comes from his family. Each branch in Lambert’s family tree has served in the armed forces or worked for the armed forces dating back to World War II, and he wishes to continue that line of service.
Lambert believes that this year will be an interesting one. Lambert is testing out the waters and trying new classes that he previously never signed up for. This will be a good experience for him and he believes that these new classes will introduce him to new plans of interest. He believes that he will enjoy his senior year with all of his new classes especially his journalism class.
