Brunton is a 17 year old senior at Freedom High School. This is her first year at Freedom and on the Journalism Staff. She was born in Dallas, Texas and lived there for 3 years. She then moved to Birmingham, Michigan and stayed there for about a year. Her mom was offered a job in Tampa, Florida so they picked up and moved once again. Luckily, that was the last big move and now Megan has been living in Tampa for about 13 years. Brunton enjoys writing, reading, and traveling in her free time. She hopes to go to Columbia College Chicago in the fall of 2015 and major in journalism. Some of her favorite books and movies are The Bell Jar, Lolita, Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Gentleman Prefer Blondes. Her dream is to be a Journalist for CNN or the New York Times, and she has all the determination and skill to fulfill it.
