The new Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on January 16, 2025, the new switch will be a new addition to the Nintendo Switch system. It includes a variety of new updates added to this console, that is surely to be an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch OLED. But is it really a purchase that is worth paying for after such a long wait.

   The console release has brought many students’ attention to where it is now going to include a set of new updates like, new battery, improved performance, and bigger screen.  That being, lots of students are thinking about if it’s a system worth buying or whether it will be the same as the others. 

“I think that everyone waiting for so long for this second to drop has brought lots to excitement.” Darius Anderson said (12) “And I’m hoping it will come out to being good.” 

  Lots of people, including Anderson, are filled with excitement when it comes to the new release of the Nintendo Switch 2, and are hoping that it will be worth it and be a good console to play on.  

“I think it’s great for people who like to play the switch for up to a long period of time.” Alyssa Currie said (11) “If I get to play on it for longer, that would be cool.” Anderson said (12)  

  Therefore, people have a new advantage of being able to experience more screen time with a chance of 9 hours of play time with the new Nintendo Switch 2. When they have a battery life that goes up to 3-7 hours playing on this console. 

“I don’t know what the new features to the console are yet, but if they are better than the one before I would really like to see that.” Anderson said (12) “I feel like it will make gaming better for people, because I heard that it comes with a larger screen and controllers.” Currie said (11) 

  As a result, the new Nintendo Switch 2 will have exciting features that include improved battery life, being able to play for a longer period of time. A larger screen, which will be bigger and better display for handheld mode. And lastly enhanced graphics, that will improve resolution and performance for a more immersive gaming experience for others.  

“I feel like the new one will be more advance in technology compared to the previous one, there is nothing wrong with mine, it’s just that there will always going to be a new advancement when it comes to products.” Currie said (11)
