How to Cure Senioritis

As graduation comes around every year, many seniors end up dealing with
senioritis.
As 12 grade comes to a close and seniors get closer to graduating, a lot of them
slowly begin to lose their motivation and momentum throughout their final year of
high school.
Seniors with what is usually used as a joke, senioritis, often start to procrastinate on
their school work, miss multiple days of school, and even sometimes skip classes.
Shane LeNoir, a senior, complains about how senioritis has affected his performance
in his classes.
“When you finally get to senior year you’re just very excited to be finished with
everything and leave and that has caused me to lose a lot of motivation compared to
the beginning of the year and has made me become a little lazy,” LeNoir said.
Luckily there’s a couple of ways students could try to cure their senioritis.
Different students have figured out different ways to deal with their senioritis to try
and stay focused.
Jason Reimer, a senior, talks about how time management has helped him keep his
motivation flowing throughout the year.
“I’ve found out that making a list and organizing my tasks and assignments have
helped me improve my focus and helped me stay on track a little bit better,” Reimer
said.
Students, especially seniors, should always try different ways to help them stay
focused and find out what works best for them to cure their senioritis and make
their last year in high school count.
