Louie Saengsuwandee is a junior at Freedom High School who is originally from Thailand. He is known for, among other things, his immense passion for baseball. Due to his aspirations of playing in the MLB, he is a part of two baseball teams, Temple Terrace High School League and Idlewild High School League.

“Louie absolutely loves the game of baseball more than anyone I have ever met. He is almost obsessed with it. I guess that is the funniest thing about him. He is very passionate about it and loves to play the game,” said Mr. Channels, who also added, “Louie is a very unique young man. He is fun to be around and the students all seem to enjoy talking to him.”

Louie is also a part of Freedom’s FBLA. He competed in job interviewing and plans on finishing his senior year by winning an award for FBLA. In addition to his interest in baseball and FBLA, he also spends his time playing the acoustic guitar. He’s played since he was 13 and enjoys practicing calming music because it helps him reduce stress.

“Louie is always smiling in the halls and always eager to tell his friends stuff. He’s very passionate about things he’s interested in,” said Junior JunWei Harmon.
