10 Struggles Only a Freedom Student Would Know
March 9, 2016
- Bees
“When you’re just trying to get an education and the FHS bees attack and stab you in the neck,” said Senior Emily Tatum.
- Crowded Hallways
“I’m 6’3 but it’s still hard for me to get through the halls,” said Senior Austin Repp.
- Juice Packets on the Floor
“It’s like being on campus with land mines everywhere, you never see them coming,” said Junior Phoebe Dudney.
- Faulty Vending Machines
“I just want to be able to eat food without the vending machine eating my money,” said Junior Tyler Bray.
- Unpredictable A.C.
“Sometimes it’s hot as balls,“ said Junior Brian Seybold.
- Hiding from AP’s
“Sometimes I feel like leaving campus to grab lunch but then I see a golf cart and think ‘better not’,” said Senior Colleen McMahon.
- School Parking Lot Chaos
“The parking lot is obviously full of inexperienced drivers,“ said Junior Will Stonesifer. “There should be a safer, more efficient way to get everyone home than one exit that feeds to a stoplight. It is inevitable for accidents to happen.”
- Changing Tardy Policies
“Does this mean I have to get to class on time now?” said Senior Quenden James.
- PDA Around Every Corner
“There’s no escaping it,” said Senior Samvit Iyer.
- Controversial Dress Codes
“I don’t understand how people can be punished for a slip of the knee,” said Junior Julia Linton.
Despite these struggles, at the end of the day, it’s always great to be a Freedom Patriot.
