Sounds Of Music Fill The Air
From March to October, the nation comes together and celebrates one of the few things that everyone has in common… the love of music. Music Festivals have been becoming more and more popular each year. Not only do they showcase popular and new artists, they allow people to come together and celebrate life, love, and friendships. People are free to express who they are, without feeling judged by the world. Instead, everyone welcomes each other with open arms and open hearts. From Old School Rock, to Indie, to EDM, these Festivals can have any range of genres. Some are more specific such as Reggae Fest or others can have many different types.
Luckily, Florida has many Festivals to partake in such as Ultra, Big Guava, Sunset and many more, all though for some you have to be 18 or older. Ultra is one of the most anticipated EDM music festivals. Held in Miami, many electronic music enthusiasts come together for three days of music that beats through your veins and moves your body. The next one coming up is Big Guava showcasing artists such as Outcast, Vampire Weekend, Foster the People, Earl Sweatshirt, Hoodie Allen, Twenty One Pilots, Chance the Rapper, Teegan and Sarah and many more. Guava is also a three day fest starting Friday, May 2nd and Ending Sunday, May 4th.
Of course there are many other festivals outside of Florida, such as the Hangout Festival in Alabama, Euphoria in Texas, or Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC) in various places such as New York and Nevada.
So whether you’re just heading to one this year or going to all, music festivals are the perfect kick off to spring, summer or just a good time in general. Not only will you see your favorite artists, but you’ll make memories that will last a lifetime.
