Jazmine Boga, Staff writer

Originally born in Chicago, Illinois, Jazmine Boga, currently a sophomore at Freedom High School, and has been a part of Freedom’s Varsity Volleyball team for two years. Being from the city, Jazmine enjoys traveling around the world and being able to experience different cultural varieties of the many places she has been. Atlanta has taken a special part in her heart as she was there for a volleyball tournament, Big South. Coming from an athletic family, Boga has participated in many sports including basketball, swimming, gymnastics, softball and volleyball, which is her favorite. Beginning at the age of seven, Boga was always participating in volleyball activities and currently is a part of an AAU Volleyball team, Tampa Elite. Her main goal is to get a sports scholarship into a Division 1 school or take on a different route by going into the medical field. As an athlete, injuries are frequent and after being injured a lot in her sports career, she would like to learn more about the human body and help others.
