Among console gamers there is one argument that exceeds others: Xbox or PlayStation. Those born with common sense pick PlayStation, but after all common sense isn’t so common.

Prices: The newest of these consoles run at different prices. Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro is $399 vs Xbox One X cost of $499. It’s obvious that the majority would go with the cheaper option.

Game Exclusives: PS4 and Xbox One both have an extensive game library. Whichever console you get you’ll miss out on a few of this generations greatest video games.

PS4 exclusives include: Until Dawn, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil 7, Uncharted 4 and God of War.

Xbox exclusives include: Cuphead, Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Compared to PS4’s titles Xbox’s are almost unforgettable compared to years invested series like Uncharted and God of War. PS4 wins at exclusives at a mile.

Controllers: The design of the Dualshock 4 (PS) and Xbox One controller are similar. Both controllers include a headphone jack, analog sticks, triggers and D-pads.

However, the Dualshock 4 controller offers everything its competitor does and more. Motion detection which aids camera movement and aiming in shooting games and a Touchpad that is clickable and can serve as another button.

The Xbox gaming system isn’t completely flawed but it will always be second to the PlayStation.
