Nikhil Chari, News Editor
Nikhil Chari is a senior at Freedom High School in Tampa, Florida. He is seventeen years old and was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Chari is the News Editor of the Revolution online paper. He has been a member of the Revolution Newspaper since his junior year. He started out as a Staff Writer and got promoted to News Editor last year. This year he stayed on staff as the News Editor and has played a key role in shifting the paper online.
Chari has many extracurricular interests. He is the captain of the tennis team and the President of the ping pong club at the school. He also is the Vice President of the Future Business Leaders of America chapter. Outside of school Nikhil is part of the Mayor's Youth Corps; which is the youth representation of the City of Tampa Mayor's office. He also is an avid ultimate frisbee player and loves to play sports and hang out with his friends.
Chari is a high achieving student in the top 1% of his class. He aspires to become an engineer or an economist and is pursuing a very math heavy course load. He is on the first team calculus on the Freedom High School Mu Alpha Theta team. He also is a member of the National Honors Society.
