On Friday, November 3^rd, Freedom Cross Country ran in Estero, Florida for the FHSAA Region 3 meet. The Girls team finished 13th overall and the Boys finished 14th overall. The top 15 runners and top 6 teams at the meet moved onto states.  

Senior Alejandro Michel qualified for his first state meet with a solid time of 17:12 and an 8^th place finish.

Many course records were also set at Estero; Sam Burson, Austin Channels, and Andre Benitez all received course records for the Boys while Morgan Kugel got a course record for the Girls side.

Alejandro Michel will compete for state honors in the 3A Boys Race on November 11^th at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.
